Espresso Associates began in 2007 when Sam Accetta, a member of the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand saw a need in the market for quality maintenance of financial accounts. Most accounting firms focus on the completion of tax returns, but the outcome of the tax return is dependent on the quality of the data going into the accounting software. With governments making ever increasing rules on the taxation of business, the need for quality becomes more and more necessary.

Not many get excited about data entry, especially accounting data entry. So the name ‘Espresso’ was chosen to signal to clients that we get this, and we pride ourselves on our quality AND our speed. (‘Espresso’ is not only the best hot drink known to humanity, but also means ‘Quick’ in Italian.)
